The base is made of terracotta air dry clay for a sturdy structure, with 3mm hand painted enamel, aluminium wire and polymer clay shapes. The Purdy sculpture is made to be the star of the room, as a centre piece on a table or on the mantel but it's really down to you where you choose! Place it in front of a window for a groovy shadow.
The base has been sealed with a gloss varnish and while it is strong, you do not want to drop it as this may lead to cracks/breakage!
Each polymer clay part is safely secured with strong adhesive but in the unlikely event the become damaged, I will replace the parts free of charge. Your sculpture will arrive with some fo the wires taken out to avoid damage during shipping, to reassemble, simply push the wires back in the holes.
